ESML Student in Global Youth Call for Action Toward a Sustainable and Just Future

The 14th UNESCO Youth Forum, held from 26–28 October 2025 at the Silk Road Samarkand Conference Centre in Uzbekistan, brought together over 150 youth delegates from nearly 140 countries to advance policy recommendations on climate action, sustainability, and social equity.

Thailand was represented by Mr. Kittikorn Hongyim, a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Educational System Management Leadership (International Program), Faculty of Education, supported by the Secretariat of the Thai National Commission for UNESCO and the Ministry of Education, Thailand.

The Forum produced two key outcome documents — the Call to Action and the Global Recommendations — highlighting six priority areas: youth participation in climate governance, sustainable education, innovation for green and blue economies, ethical digital transformation, community well-being, and the protection of cultural and natural heritage. These outcomes will be presented at the 43rd UNESCO General Conference in November 2025
